If you would like to order a cake from me, please be aware of the following:

Paying for your cake

I require a small deposit when you order your cake. Full payment is then due 7 days before completion. If you wish to pay in instalments, I am happy to discuss this.

In the event of a change of date or cancellation, any refund will depend on individual circumstances and whether costs have already been incurred. I will always try to be flexible.

I prefer payment by bank transfer, but again I can be flexible about payment method.

Delivery

Cakes are usually collected by customers, but if required I can arrange for your cake to be delivered at an additional cost. Please ask me for details.

Cake Design

Once we have talked through the design for your cake, I will send you a description of the design and include photos of similar design details, which you can then approve.  This helps ensure that the cake I make for you turns out as you’re expecting.

I will always try to achieve as close a match as possible to your chosen colours, but please note that this cannot be guaranteed. For bridesmaids’ dresses, for example, I will need a swatch or piece of ribbon to get an accurate match. This is also true when attempting to recreate a cake chosen from my website or social media pages. Please note that colours will vary depending on the screen on which they are viewed.

Samples

If you would like to try tasting samples of different cake flavours, please ask and I can arrange this for you.

Dietary requirements and allergens

I am happy to make egg-free and dairy-free cakes.

While I take every care to ensure my recipes are free from allergens or specific ingredients as requested, this cannot be guaranteed.
